Pakistan's Most Trusted Tile Adhesive
Stop Tiles From Falling. Forever.
Time Tile Bond is a C2TE polymer-modified cementitious tile adhesive engineered to solve Pakistan's most common tiling problems — hollow tiles, poor bonding, and water seepage — once and for all.

Why Tiles Fail — And How We Fix It
Pakistan faces a silent construction crisis. Every year, millions of rupees are wasted on tiles that crack, fall, or allow water damage — almost always due to the wrong adhesive.
Tiles Becoming Hollow
Traditional cement shrinks as it cures, creating air pockets. Tiles sound hollow when tapped and eventually fall — sometimes dangerously.
Water Penetration
Poor bonding allows water to seep behind tiles, causing mould, structural damage, and complete tile failure in bathrooms and kitchens.
Poor Bonding Strength
Ordinary cement gives only 0.1–0.3 N/mm² adhesion. Large format tiles require at least 1.0 N/mm² — otherwise they will fall.
Slow Installation
With only 5–10 minutes of open time on cement, workers rush — making mistakes, misaligning tiles, and producing costly rework.
Cracks & Debonding
Buildings move and expand. Rigid cement bonds crack with any structural movement. Cracks allow water in, and the cycle of failure begins.
Uneven Surfaces
Cement mortar beds are difficult to level uniformly, leading to lippage (uneven tile edges) and an unprofessional finish.
"Mutual Cooperation and
Get Rid of Problems."
We don't just sell tile adhesive. We partner with builders, contractors, and homeowners to solve their real construction challenges. When your tiles stay bonded, we've done our job.
What Makes Time Tile Bond Different
Eight engineering advantages that set it apart from ordinary tile adhesives and traditional cement.
Superior Bond Strength
C2TE classification with tensile adhesion ≥ 1.0 N/mm² — tiles stay locked even under heavy foot traffic and vibration.
Water Resistant
Polymer-modified matrix resists water ingress, making it ideal for bathrooms, kitchens, and exterior walls.
High Flexibility
Accommodates normal structural movement without cracking or delaminating — critical for tall buildings and large format tiles.
Long Open Time
20–25 minute adjustability window gives installers time to align tiles perfectly, reducing rework and waste.
Easy to Mix
Smooth, lump-free consistency achieved quickly with a drill mixer. No special skills required.
Professional Finish
Non-slump formula keeps tiles exactly where you place them — no sliding, even on vertical surfaces.
Interior & Exterior
Suitable for indoor and outdoor applications including balconies, facades, swimming pool surrounds, and floors.

Step-by-Step Installation Guide
Follow these professional installation steps for a perfect, long-lasting result every time.
Prepare the Surface
Ensure substrate is clean, dry, structurally sound, and free from dust, oil, wax, or loose material. For concrete surfaces, allow at least 28 days curing time. Check for flatness — deviation should not exceed 3mm over 2 metres.
Pro Tip: Dampen highly absorbent substrates (e.g. brick, old plaster) before application to prevent the adhesive from drying too quickly.
Warning: Do not apply over painted surfaces, moving cracks, or substrates contaminated with oil. This will cause bond failure.
Mix the Adhesive
Pour 6.0–6.5 litres of clean, cool water into a clean bucket. Gradually add the entire 20kg bag of Time Tile Bond powder while mixing with a low-speed drill (400–600 RPM) and paddle attachment. Mix for 3–5 minutes until a smooth, lump-free, creamy consistency is achieved.
Pro Tip: Always add powder to water — not water to powder. Let the mix rest for 3 minutes (slake), then briefly re-mix before use.
Warning: Never add extra water after the rest period. This reduces bond strength significantly.
Apply the Adhesive
Using the flat side of a notched trowel, apply a bond coat to the substrate. Then, using the notched side (6mm V-notch for floor tiles, 10mm square notch for large format tiles), apply adhesive in one direction to create parallel ridges. Work in 1m² sections at a time.
Pro Tip: For large format tiles (60×60cm and above), also back-butter the tile with a thin layer of adhesive for 100% coverage and to prevent hollow spots.
Set the Tiles
Press tiles firmly into the adhesive bed with a slight twisting motion, perpendicular to the trowel ridges. Use tile spacers to maintain consistent joint widths. Check alignment frequently with a spirit level. Work within the 20–25 minute open time.
Warning: If a skin forms on the adhesive surface before setting the tile, scrape it off and apply fresh adhesive. Do not tile over skinned adhesive.
Allow to Cure
Allow Time Tile Bond to cure for at least 24 hours before light foot traffic and 48–72 hours before grouting floor tiles. Protect the installation from water, vibration, and extreme temperatures during curing. Do not grout until the adhesive is fully set.
Pro Tip: In hot weather (above 30°C), mist the tiled surface lightly to slow down evaporation and ensure proper curing.
Grout the Joints
After the adhesive has cured (minimum 24 hours), remove tile spacers and clean any adhesive from the joints. Apply Time Tile Grout or any KKS Traders waterproof grout to fill the joints completely. Strike joints to a concave profile and clean excess grout from tile faces within 15–20 minutes.
Pro Tip: Pair with Time Tile Grout for a complete waterproof system that is tested to work perfectly together.
Why It Matters for Your Project
Every feature of Time Tile Bond exists for a reason. Here's what each benefit means for your construction project.
No More Hollow Tiles
Hollow tiles are the #1 tiling complaint in Pakistan. They crack underfoot, fall from walls, and ruin expensive flooring. Time Tile Bond's high adhesion strength eliminates hollow spots permanently.
Zero Water Infiltration
Water seeping behind tiles causes mould, structural damage, and tile debonding. Time Tile Bond's polymer matrix blocks water migration at the adhesive layer.
Survives Structural Movement
Pakistan's climate causes buildings to expand and contract. A rigid cement bond will crack and fail. Time Tile Bond's flexibility (S1 class) accommodates this movement without damage.
Reduce Rework by 90%
Traditional cement gives 5 minutes to adjust tiles. Time Tile Bond gives 20 minutes. More time means perfect alignment, fewer mistakes, and no costly rework.
Perfect for Large Format Tiles
Large tiles (60×120cm+) are the modern standard but require strong, flexible adhesive. Time Tile Bond is engineered specifically for this challenge.
ISO Certified Consistency
You get the same quality every time. No surprises, no weak batches. ISO 9001:2015 certification means every bag of Time Tile Bond is tested and verified.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Time Tile Bond — answered honestly and clearly.
Time Tile Bond by KKS Traders is widely regarded as the best tile adhesive in Pakistan, particularly in Lahore. It meets the European C2TE standard (EN 12004), offers superior tensile adhesion (≥1.0 N/mm²), and is trusted by builders, contractors, and tile installers across the country for both residential and commercial projects.
C2TE is a European standard (EN 12004) classification for cementitious tile adhesives. 'C2' means improved adhesion (≥0.5 N/mm² after water immersion), 'T' means reduced slip (non-slump for vertical applications), and 'E' means extended open time (≥30 minutes). Time Tile Bond meets all three requirements, making it suitable for demanding applications.
Yes. Time Tile Bond is specifically formulated for both interior and exterior applications. Its polymer modification makes it resistant to temperature cycles, rain, and UV exposure. It is suitable for exterior walls, balconies, swimming pool surrounds, and facades. For permanently submerged areas, consult KKS Traders for a specialist recommendation.
Time Tile Bond is water-resistant once cured — meaning it will not dissolve or lose adhesion when exposed to water. However, tile adhesives are not designed as a waterproofing membrane. For waterproof systems (e.g. bathrooms, wet rooms), apply a dedicated waterproofing membrane before tiling, then use Time Tile Bond as the adhesive and Time Tile Grout to seal the joints.
Yes. Porcelain and vitrified tiles are low-porosity tiles that require an adhesive with high grabbing strength. Time Tile Bond's C2TE polymer formulation provides the enhanced adhesion needed to bond these materials reliably. Always back-butter large format porcelain tiles for 100% contact coverage.
Time Tile Bond covers approximately 4–5 kg per square metre when applied at the correct bed thickness (6–10mm notched trowel). A single 20kg bag covers approximately 4–5 square metres. For large format tiles requiring back-buttering, coverage decreases to approximately 3–4 m² per bag.
Initial set is achieved in 4–6 hours. Light foot traffic is possible after 24 hours. Grouting should be done after 24–48 hours. Full mechanical cure takes 28 days. These times are based on 23°C and 50% relative humidity — hot weather will accelerate setting, cold weather will slow it.
In some cases, yes. The existing tiles must be fully bonded (no hollow tiles), clean, and mechanically keyed by grinding or scarifying the surface. The existing tile surface must be flat. However, we recommend consulting a professional before tiling over existing tiles, as this adds load and may not comply with local building codes.
Traditional cement-sand mortar has poor tensile adhesion (typically 0.1–0.3 N/mm²), long curing time, no flexibility, and shrinks as it dries — causing hollow tiles over time. Time Tile Bond is a polymer-modified adhesive with adhesion of ≥1.0 N/mm², flexibility (accommodates movement), extended open time, and is ready to use simply by adding water. It is the professional, modern alternative to cement.
For bathroom walls, you need an adhesive that can hold tiles vertically (non-slump) and resist moisture. Time Tile Bond's 'T' grade (reduced slip) and polymer-modified water-resistant formula make it ideal for bathroom wall tiling. Pair with Time Tile Grout for complete waterproof protection at the joints.
Yes. Time Tile Bond is suitable for natural stone tiles including marble and granite. For light-coloured marble, use the grey formulation with care — very thin marble may show grey shadow. For translucent marble or white stone, consult KKS Traders about a white-pigmented adhesive option. Always back-butter natural stone for full coverage.
Unfortunately, hollow tiles cannot be permanently fixed without removal and re-bonding. Hollow tiles indicate adhesive failure — the tile has debonded from the substrate. The correct solution is to remove the hollow tiles carefully, clean the substrate and tile back, apply fresh Time Tile Bond, and re-set the tiles. Injection grouting is a temporary fix and is not recommended for structural areas.
The four main causes are: (1) Using traditional cement-sand mortar without polymer, which has poor adhesion and shrinks; (2) Insufficient adhesive coverage — less than 80% contact area; (3) Tiling over a poorly prepared, dusty, or oily substrate; (4) Thermal expansion and structural movement not accommodated by a flexible adhesive. Time Tile Bond solves all four problems.
Mix one 20kg bag of Time Tile Bond powder with 6.0–6.5 litres of clean, cool water. Always add powder to water gradually while mixing with a low-speed drill. Do not add more water than specified — excess water reduces adhesion strength significantly.
Yes. Time Tile Bond is engineered for large format tiles (60×60cm, 60×120cm, 80×80cm, and larger). For tiles larger than 40×40cm, always apply adhesive to both the substrate and the back of the tile (back-buttering) to achieve 100% contact coverage and prevent hollow spots.
Time Tile Bond can be used in swimming pool surrounds and splash zones. For permanently submerged areas (pool floor and walls below the waterline), an epoxy adhesive or a dedicated pool adhesive system is recommended. Contact KKS Traders for specific guidance on pool projects.
